Our Programs

Youth Response + Diversion

YETI YR+D – Youth Response Diversion is an innovative program aimed at reducing offending and promoting positive outcomes for young people aged 10 – 15 years who are at high risk of offending or re-offending.

The program combines a range of diversion services with after-hours support, providing young people with the help they need to avoid participating in risk-taking activities.

The program is designed to be multi-faceted when combined with other YETI programs, addressing the complex and interconnected needs of young people and their families, such as substance misuse, disability, education, child safety, well-being, and health issues. With its focus on local, evidence-based solutions, YETI YR+D is a vital after-hours resource for communities in need of support for at-risk young people.

YETI recognises the sovereignty of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples has never been ceded and strongly believes Voice, Truth and Treaty are necessary to heal from the injustices of colonisation.
